Step 1: Register with BTC.com

Go to BTC.com using the official link: https://wallet.btc.com/#/setup/register

Enter your Email Address and Set a Strong Password. After you agree to the terms of service displayed, Click Create New Wallet and confirm your password.

Step 2: Create A Wallet Back Up

Now a wallet has been created, make sure to Download the Wallet Back Up information displayed. This information enables you to gain emergency access to your wallet and recover any Bitcoin.

It is important you keep this information secure and do not share this with anyone as your risk losing your Bitcoin.

Once the Wallet Backup information has been securely saved and/or printed click continue.

Step 3: Secure the wallet (Optional)

It is advised to complete the recommended additional security measures: Email Verification and 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) for enhanced security.

Go to Settings and click Verify your email. An email will be sent to your inbox by BTC.com, click the link and your email will be verified to your account.

Download Google or Microsoft Authenticator on your Mobile Device. Enable 2 Factor Authentication and follow the set up. Each time you log in a code will be generated to grant access to your account.

With these Security Features Enabled, your wallet is now secure and ready to receive Bitcoin.

Step 4: Copy the Receive Address

Within your wallet on the left-hand side click “Receive” to generate a Bitcoin wallet address. It will be located at the top the page appears similar to this:

Highlight the entire length of the Bitcoin Address and right-click copy. Make sure all of values have been selected and copied.
