What is VIMworld (VEED)

VIMworld (VEED) is a brand new, innovative incentive structure integrated in the with VeChain ecosystem. This project is a blockchain-powered smart collectible platform and provides connectivity between IoT technology, Smart NFTs, a new generation of smart toys and collectibles, and blockchain. This project is reliant on its stakeholder engagement, which its powerful incentive structure helps to ensure, with value generated for players, collectors, and traders alike.

This project’s developers believe that VIMworld has great potential to grow, with their views on the Non-fungible token (NFT) space being: The NFT market has seen exponential growth since it’s first introduction in 2017, a huge transfer of wealth is on the horizon with Gen Z acquiring much of this capital (with Gen Z having grown up as ‘digital natives’) and that there is only an ever a growing availability to enter this space, with new, revolutionary technologies emerging all of the time. Currently residing on the VeChainThor public blockchain, Virtually Integrated Metadata, or VIMs, are the current smart NFTs that act as characters that can be utilised in a myriad of games and challenges.

Each character within the VIMWorld is unique, with a diverse background, lore, and bespoke artwork which compiled with this project’s smart contract technology, allows for metadate such as profiles, statistics, win-loss history etc… to be added to the collectible, which in turn adds value. The ecosystem's stakeholders include VIM Collectors – The main stakeholders of the community, which in turn reflects on protocols being implemented in attempt to raise the value propositions of VIM collectibles. Traders – The VIMmarket is a self-sufficient, robust trading platform where buyers are able to seek out rare VIMs to complete collections. Farmers – As Smart NFTs, VIMs can hold and stake cryptocurrency assets and with VEED’s token design, cross-chain farming may be a possible application in future. Finally there is VEED Token Holders – Those who enjoy the possession of VIMs for what they are, unique and interesting smart collectibles.

Team

Lila Xu, VIMworld CEO, is a very inspiring leader that emboldens the VIMworld Community, often issuing open letters to stay in touch with the project’s ever-growing following. Lila Xu was one of the founding members at CREAM (Crypto Rules Everything Around Me) which is a strategic Partner and Advisor to VIMworld. CREAM is an advisory and investment firm, utilising blockchain and the crypto-economy to unleash the potential of enterprises. Xu now focuses on ensuring the smooth running of future implementations and the introduction of new innovative plans for VIMworld.
Wenzhong Chi is a Lead Frontend Engineer having demonstrated prior work in the video streaming, finance, and crypto industry. Chi’s past experiences have equipped him with a valuable skillset, currently being skilled in React, Typescript, Swift, Kotlin, Node.js and much more. Alongside this, he specialises in iOS, Android and React Native Development. Chi in addition to his role at VIMworld works as a Technical Lead Engineer at Paxful and has previously worked as a Senior Mobile Engineer at Gemini.
Richard Chang, an investment mogul, joined the VIMworld advisory board in July 2021. Chang has gathered an array of experience in the entertainment sector, with more than 25 years’ experience as an Investor and Corporate Executive in Technology, Media and Consumer industries across the US and Asia. Chang brings prodigious experience to VIMworld, having served as an executive at Sony as well as an Operating and Financial Executive in multiple top-tier companies.
Dan Nash is another Advisor at VIMworld with expertise in the business, finance and gaming fields. Currently, Nash heads Investment Banking at Cohen & Company Capital Markets where he leads a variety of aspects of Investment Banking. Prior to this, he has held a key role at Wells Fargo Securities, where he operated as the Global Head of Internet Investment Banking, assisting leading technology companies on IPOs, acquisitions and much more.

Roadmap

VIMworld Cross-Chain Capabilities – The Team at VIMworld fully understand the importance of interoperability in a project and are currently acknowledging this through developing new Cross-Chain technology. In doing so, VIMworld CEO, Lila Xu, believes this will increase the demand for VIMs and VEED.

SDK for Their Interactive Application Platform – This project believes that the introduction of games and interactive apps will be integral to the success of VIMworld, yet a robust platform was required before this to be applicable. Further plans intend to allow third-party game developers to create new games for the VIMworld.

Community Driven Content and VIM Creation Capabilities – This involves VIM/NFT creation capabilities which the team are particularly excited about. Introducing the VIM Producers Program will ensure the organic growth of the project, with Creators, Artists, and Studios now being equipped with the opportunity to create their own collections and potentially earn an income.

An Example Game Attached to VIMworld Open-Meta – VIMworld has currently been working on a game with a third-party game developer, which it plans to introduce in the next few months. This example hopes to serve the purpose of informing other game developers with the level of functionality and utility that their games can include using VIMs.
