What is Stepn (GMT)?

Green Metaverse Token (GMT) is the native governance token, the primary store of value for Stepn investors, with a limited supply of six billion tokens. Stepn is a Web3 lifestyle app with Social-Fi and Game-Fi elements started on August 2021 and built on Solana (SOL) network. The team succeeded in upgrading an old concept of exercising to move-to-earn which is currently fully functional and vastly popular in the blockchain industry.

The total token supply of the GMT token is 6,000,000,000 and the current circulating supply is 600,000,000 GMT.

GMT holders can stake their tokens to partake in voting rounds. Collectively, token holders voted to donate a percentage of tokens to a carbon-offsetting programme.

There is also an NFT aspect involved, where users equip themselves with NFTs in the form of Sneakers. By walking, jogging, or running outdoors, users will earn game currency, which can either be used in-game, or cashed out for profit. Ryan Turner – Utilizes Illustration, Graphic & Interior Design with a focus on creating unique brands and identities. Founded his design company, Malicious Delicious, in 2006.

They also have Scott Dunlap (VP at Adidas), William Robinson (Head of Accelerator at Alliance), Jason Kam (Founder of Folius Ventures) and Santiago R. Santos as their advisors just to help the project reach it's targets and goals.

Green Metaverse Token (GMT) is on the Solana ecosystem and for this reason, can be stored and supported on the Phantom Wallet platform. The wallet allows users to store Solana assets that can be used to send, receive and swap supported coins. Alternative options to keep your GMT secure can also include MetaMask, a leading browser wallet extension popular amongst DeFi platforms.

Stepn (GMT) can also be stored in the in-app wallet, but would only be used for the application features.
