What Is Polkastarter (POLS)

Polkastarter is a blockchain platform planned to give an easy-to-use launchpad for cross-chain token pools and auctions. It is most used by early-stage blockchain projects that want to increase capital and easily hand out their tokens at the same time.

Through Polkastarter, blockchain projects can comfortably create their own cross-chain swap pools, which allow them to securely increase funds, while users can invest without any risks, since swaps are automatically executed by smart contracts.

$POLS is the original utility token of the Polkastarter platform and plays several roles in its ecosystem, being used for liquidity mining, governance, paying transaction fees, and gaining eligibility to engage in POLS-holder only pools. The platform first went live in December 2020 and has quickly grown to become one of the most used platforms for initial DEX offerings (IDOs). As of January 2022, Polkastarter runs on the Ethereum blockchain.

The platform provides an opportunity for various cryptocurrency projects to raise funds by setting up a swap pool based on a fixed purchase rate for tokens. These fixed swap pools have many advantages for token sale investors over traditional models like ICOs, IEOs and IDOs. These fixed pools maintain token price until the whole supply is bought.

Powered by the Polkadot ecosystem, Polkastarter brings the possibility of making both fixed swap pools and croos-chain swaps, resulting in higher throughput for faster and cheaper transactions while staying connected to the Ethereum Network and other blockchains for liquidity.
