What is Ellipsis (EPS)?
Ellipsis, a decentralised exchange (DEX) and permitted Curve Finance fork on the BNB chain. Ellipsis is an Automated Market Maker (AMM) or exchange that enables users and other decentralised protocols to trade tokens (such as BUSD to USDC) with little slippage and little cost.
Ellipsis makes use of liquidity pools as opposed to exchanges that pair buyers and sellers. Ellipsis requires a large volume of liquidity (tokens) in the pools in order to achieve successful exchange volume and little slippage. Ellipsis rewards liquidity providers with EPX tokens to encourage them to deposit liquidity into its pools.
The native token for Ellipsis is called Ellipsis (EPX). The main goals of the EPX token are to reward Ellipsis.finance's liquidity providers and give users access to the incentive distribution.

The total supply of EPX is 132B tokens.
Since stablecoin projects use the StableSwap protocol, a more effective swap protocol for pegged tokens, they would benefit from using Ellipsis' pools. By using Ellipsis rather than DEXes like PancakeSwap, it means that the underlying tokens in a pool are more likely to maintain their peg.
Roadmap
In August 2022 Ellipsis team announced the launch of capital-efficient crypto swaps. Ellipsis now provides the most capital-efficient swaps between stable pairs (such as BUSD > USDC) and common crypto pairs (such as BNB > BUSD) on the BNB chain.
Ellipsis pools will perform better than x*y=k AMMs like Uniswap or PancakeSwap if liquidity is equivalent. Ellipsis is now the best option on BNB Chain regardless of liquidity since equal performance can be obtained with less liquidity.
